The experience is an educational visualization, not a live monitoring, warning, forecast, evacuation, or decision-support system. For current information and instructions, use PHIVOLCS and local authorities.

Suggested lesson sequence

  1. Observe: Start Story and ask learners to label one feature they can observe directly.
  2. Interpret: Ask what evidence supports the idea that Mayon is built by repeated eruptions.
  3. Compare: Use one hazard layer at a time. Identify which controls are simplified.
  4. Reflect: Finish at Daraga and consider heritage, livelihood, place, and uncertainty.
